5 in 1 wireless fast charger, originally priced at $49, now only $10

Fast Dual Phone Wireless Charging Station 5 in 1 for Apple Watch Ultra/AirPods/iPad

40W Fast Dual Phone Wireless Charging Station 1

I found a pretty good 40W wireless fast charger on Amazon’s off-site discount site. Most are in black, but a few are in white.

As shown in the image below, its dimensions are 7.5 x 5.7 inches, with a thickness of 0.78 inches. Each “+” area is a wireless charging pad. The one on the left has a stand on the back that allows it to stand upright. It also automatically detects metal foreign objects, a feature known as Foreign Object Detection (FOD).

40W Fast Dual Phone Wireless Charging Station 2

According to the instructions printed on the box, this 40W is not the single wireless output power, but the total power of all wireless charging areas (including wired interfaces).

40W Fast Dual Phone Wireless Charging Station 3

The wireless charger on the left is 15W, the raised watch wireless charger on the left is 2W, the wireless charger on the right is 10W, and there is a 3W Apple Lightning charging port on the far right.

40W Fast Dual Phone Wireless Charging Station 4

It also has a USB output port and a Type-C input port on the back. The USB port is 10W output, and the Type-C port is 40W input. It is compatible with chargers with PD and QC fast charging protocols. In other words, this wireless charger has a total of 3 wireless charging areas and 2 wired charging ports.

The bottom has heat dissipation holes, and the workmanship looks good. In theory, with this charger, you can charge a bunch of things like mobile phones, watches, headphones, etc. at the same time, saving charging heads.

About Reviews

I feel like many people don’t understand the benefits of wireless charging, so here’s a breakdown of our specific usage.

First, I have two phones that both support wireless charging. I have one wireless charger, one by my bed and one on my desk, but I use the desk one most often.

Next, my charging routine: When I get home at night, I rarely use my phone. Instead, I’ll open my computer at my desk and play games. (I don’t understand why I’d spend so much time watching videos on my phone? Isn’t it nice to use the big screen?) While I’m playing, I can place my phone directly on the desk to charge.

Because my phone is held vertically, right next to the display, the screen lights up when someone sends me a message or notification. If I need to reply, I can unlock it with one hand and use voice input with the other hand.

Before, when I used a wired charger, it took me longer to pick up and put my phone down. Often, I’d be playing a game and didn’t have the time to slowly put it down, causing it to bang against the desk.

When I use it in bed, I place my phone on the wireless charger next to my bed before I go to sleep. This makes it easier to set my alarm in the morning, without having to worry about dropping my phone (my wireless charger is attached to the table). I only need one hand to reach for the charger, leaving my other hand free to hold my water bottle.

If I use a wired charger, I’ll put the water bottle down first and use both hands to unplug the cord.

Finally, let me share my thoughts on wireless charging. Wireless charging is indeed slow, taking two or three hours to fully charge. However, my phone often doesn’t completely die, and two or three hours isn’t a very long time.

Many people think wireless charging is too slow. I think if you can’t leave your phone for two or three hours, it’s best to identify your problem or put it down and do something else.
